The Stop/Start "trick" I teach my students was something I discovered watching Andrew race when he was about 13. Andrew had no idea why he was able to crush kids in a stop/start race that he couldn't necessarily beat straight on. Once I figured out what Andrew was naturally doing differently in his transitions, and why they were so fast, I developed this move into a ColdRush technique that has become an instruction staple.
